A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in St. Clair County.

Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim as John S. Costner. He was 21 and lived in Talladega.

The crash happened at 5:50 p.m. on Logan Martin Dam Road, about six miles northeast of Vincent, said Senior Trooper Justin O’Neal.

Authorities said Costner was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle that struck a Ford Ranger driven by 69-year-old Clifford McWhorter of Cropwell.

Costner was pronounced dead on the scene.
