21-year-old Mobile woman killed in rollover crash was not wearing seat belt, troopers say
A Mobile woman was killed when her vehicle left a roadway and overturned late Wednesday night, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
The accident occurred on Dawes Road, about four miles south of the Mobile city limits, about 11:47 p.m. Wednesday. A 2020 Nissan Kicks driven by 21-year-old Bess M. Adams left the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned.
Adams, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle, ALEA said. She was transported to University Hospital in Mobile where she died a short time later.
No other details were released as ALEA continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
