A suspect is being held in the Mobile County Metro Jail on murder charges after he turned himself in Friday in connection with a quadruple shooting last week that left one person dead, police said.

Daniel Cunningham, 21, was identified as a suspect in the Jan. 24 shooting in the 1200 block of Murray Hill Court.

Early that night, officers found two male victims and two female victims who were struck by gunfire along with multiple apartment units hit by bullets.

Police learned earlier this week that one of the victims died from his injuries.

The identity of that victim was not released Friday.

Cunningham turned himself in to Metro Jail on Friday.

Jail records showed the 21-year-old was booked on a charge of murder.

Police said additional arrests are likely.

The investigation remained ongoing Friday night.
