An investigation is underway after a young man was shot to death in Montgomery.

The shooting happened at 12:45 a.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of West South Boulevard.

Police Maj. Saba Coleman said 21-year-old Hector Bamaca Yoc was pronounced dead on the scene.

No additional details have been released.
