Standing in the way of an Alabama trip to the championship game are the UConn Huskies. UConn is the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament, and has been steam-rolling their opponents thus far.

In the Round of 64, the Huskies waltzed past Stetson by 39 points, then took down Northwestern by 17 points in the Round of 32. In a rematch of last year’s title game, the Huskies beat San Diego State by 30 points in the Sweet 16 before defeating Illinois by 25 points in the Elite Eight to reach the Final Four.

The Huskies are playing dominating basketball, which means the Tide have a tough assignment on their hands. UConn is heavily favored in this matchup, as oddsmakers are listing the Huskies as 12-point favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook. The total, or over/under, is listed at 161.5.

Even as a double-digit underdogs, if the Tide can push the pace and get scoring from their role players, they can pull off the upset. Alabama plays fast, which could throw UConn off its game if the Tide get out to an early lead.

Alabama is looking to prevent a possible championship repeat from UConn, who is looking to become the first back-to-back national champions since Florida in 2006-07.
