A shooting Thursday evening in Montgomery left a 20-year-old dead.

Police on Friday identified the victim as Jakevyon Fannin. He lived in Montgomery.

The shooting happened just after 5 p.m. on Gatsby Drive in the F Scott Court area.

Officers arrived to find Fannin dead on the scene. He is the city’s 14th homicide this year.

No additional details have been released, and no arrests have been made.
