2 suspects sought in armed robbery, assault of man at Birmingham gas station
Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying two robbery suspects.
Birmingham police said the holdup happened about 6:20 p.m. Jan. 2 at the Chevron at 416 10th Street North.
A man, said Officer Truman Fitzgerald, was robbed by another man and a woman. They were armed with a gun and stole the victim’s personal belongings.
Police said the victim was physically assaulted during the robbery.
Anyone with information on the identities of the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 for their tips.
