Two juveniles have been charged in the September shooting death of another teen.

Montgomery police said two teen boys – ages 16 and 17 – were taken into custody Thursday. The arrests were made by the department’s special operations and homicide divisions.

Both are charged with capital murder.

The victim was 16 years old. Police have not released his name because of his age.

The deadly shooting happened on Sept. 20.

Police and fire medics were dispatched about 11:56 p.m. that Wednesday to the 3200 block of Cloud Street. They arrived to find the young victim dead on the scene.

Both suspects are being held in the Montgomery County Detention Center.
