2 people shot to death at home in Baldwin County; son in custody
Two people were shot to death today in the unincorporated area of Spanish Fort, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, deputies responded about 1:30 p.m. today to the report of a shooting on McFarland Road. Deputies found two victims inside a home with gunshot wounds. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office said that based on preliminary information it believes Trinell Brown went his parents’ home to confront them about an ongoing dispute and shot and killed them during an argument. Brown told witnesses he had killed his parents after he came out of the home, the sheriff’s office said. Deputies arrested Brown and he is in custody. There are no other threats in the area, the sheriff’s office said.
