2 newly renovated Alabama Walmart stores to reopen
Two Walmart stores in Alabama will be reopening Friday – one in Huntsville, the other in Fairhope.
A ribbon-cutting celebration is planned for Friday at 8 a.m. at a newly renovated Walmart Neighborhood Market at 2305 Jordan Lane S.W., in Huntsville.
At the same time, a similar ceremony will be held at the revamped Walmart Supercenter at 10040 County Road 48, in Fairhope.
Both stores will also celebrate the unveiling of murals by local artists – in Huntsville, by Desiree Kelly; in Daphne, by Lindsey Fourt.
Following the renovations, the stores will feature new signage and lighting, a new look inside and out, remodeled bathrooms, Grab N Go coolers at the front, pickup and delivery options, and touch-free pay, among other additions.
