Two men were shot, including one who suffered life-threatening injuries, Tuesday afternoon in Montgomery, police said.

Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the 3000 block of Woodley Road around 4 p.m. Tuesday on a call of people shot, said Maj. Saba Coleman.

Authorities found the victims, only publicly identified as two men, with life-threatening and non-life-threatening wounds, said Coleman.

Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Further information on the incident was not released by police, who cited an ongoing investigation.
