Mobile police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday morning in a gas station parking lot.

According to a department spokesperson, at about 6 a.m. two men were struck by gunfire in the Clark’s parking lot on Moffett Road.

After arriving at the scene police learned that one of the victims was already at a local hospital.

The spokesperson said police discovered the other man drove himself to a business before being transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The department said that they are currently under the belief that the injuries sustained by both men are non-life threatening.

More information about the incident will be released later today the spokesperson said.
