2 killed, 2 injured in west Alabama head-on crash were not wearing seatbelts, ALEA says
Two people were killed and two injured early Sunday morning in a head-on collision in Greene County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
None of those killed or injured were wearing seatbelts, according to ALEA.
The crash happened at approximately 4:52 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 11, about four miles north of Eutaw.
Jamal L. Parham, 31, of Eutaw, a passenger of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, and Temika M. Lynch, 39, of Demopolis, a passenger of a 2011 Hyundai Tuscon, were both fatally injured.
Patrick Armstead, 33, of Forkland, the driver of the Tuscon, and Ebony Powell, 27, of Boligee, the driver of the Sonata, were both taken to an area hospital for medical treatment.
