2 juveniles shot in Anniston, additional shooting may be related, police say
Anniston police are looking at whether a Monday evening shooting is connected to one that took place Friday that injured two juveniles.
Capt. Matt Caballero said the Friday shooting took place at about 4:05 p.m. in the 300 block of East 22nd Street, when officers found two male juveniles with gunshot wounds.
One was transported to UAB Hospital and remains in critical but stable condition. The other was treated at a local hospital and released.
Police are looking to see if there is a connection with another shooting that took place Monday at about 5:50 p.m. in the same block. That shooting resulted only in property damage.
