An investigation is underway after two people were found shot to death Thursday morning in east Birmingham.

The discovery was made at 9:58 a.m. Thursday in the Killough Springs neighborhood.

Both victims are inside a vehicle parked outside a residence on Zinnia Lane.

They were pronounced dead on the scene.
