2 dead in Sunday morning crash on I-20 in Calhoun County
Two Heflin residents are dead following an early morning crash Saturday in Calhoun County.
Anthony A. Finley, 58, was driving a 2002 Toyota Sienna with Kimberly H. Finley, 59, as a passenger when the vehicle was struck by a 2016 Ford Mustang driven by Dustin T. Cleckler, 30, of Thorsby.
After the initial impact, the Toyota left the roadway, stuck an embankment and multiple trees before overturning, according to a police report.
Anthony A. Finley and Kimberly H. Finley were pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred on Interstate 20 near Alabama 281, about three miles east of Oxford city limits.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division is investigating the crash.
