Two men were taken into custody Thursday in connection with a fatal weekend shooting in Montgomery County.

John E. White, 56, and Adrian L. Moultrie, 50, are charged with murder in the Saturday slaying of 34-year-old Dewane Wooten.

Deputies responded Saturday to Riverside Road on a report of a shooting. They found Wooten injured, and he died a short time later.

No additional details have been released.

Assistant Chief Deputy Wesley Richerson said the investigation is ongoing. The suspects are in the process of being booked into the Montgomery Detention Center.
