2 Birmingham firms developing Florida apartment complex
Two Birmingham-based companies are collaborating on a 322-unit apartment complex in Florida.
Ranch Hill Apartments, to be located in San Antonio, Fla. northeast of Tampa, is a project of real estate investment firm Dobbins Group, and general contractor Capstone Building Corp.
Dobbins Group will lead the development, while Capstone Building Corp will serve as the general contractor.
Ranch Hill Apartments will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans in two- and three-story buildings in a low-density layout. The development uses Big House architecture, a trademarked design developed by architect Humphries & Partners with the look and feel of a townhouse.
Ranch Hill will include a gated entrance, grilling stations, car wash center, indoor and outdoor fitness center, pool, co-working space, dog spa and park, and lawn games area.
WRA will serve as civil engineer, HPLA as the landscape architect and Faulkner Engineering as the geotechnical and quality control engineer.
