2 arrested in Huntsville, charged with electronic solicitation of a child
Huntsville police have arrested two men – one from Florida – in unrelated cases who they say traveled to the area thinking they were going to have sex with a 12-year-old child.
According to police, Frank Harry Hunt, 57, of Zephyrhills, Fla., was arrested in the 4700 block of University Drive on Monday.
The department’s Special Victims Unit and and Internet Crimes Against Children investigator say Hunt traveled to Huntsville from Florida to meet someone he was talking to online who he believed to be a 12-year-old child for sexual intercourse.
A day later, Carlton Dewayne Grayson, 51, of Laceys Spring, was arrested in the 2800 block of South Memorial Parkway.
The Special Victims Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Investigator and Homeland Security say Grayson traveled to Huntsville to meet what he thought was a 12-year-old child for unlawful sex acts.
Both Hunt and Grayson were charged with traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act and electronic solicitation of a child and booked into the Madison County Jail.
