Two people are being held in the Madison County Jail without bond following a shooting Thursday afternoon in Huntsville,

Huntsville police’s Violent Crimes Unit Investigators arrested Alaysia Jabrea Hampton, 23, and Romance Deshawn Marks, 32, following a shooting on Barbara Drive.

The two face charges of first degree robbery-carjacking and first degree aggravated assault.

A police spokesperson said the incident happened about 3 p.m. on Barbara Drive.

One person, whose name has not been released, was wounded with apparently non-life threatening injuries.
