Decatur police have charged two men with attempted rape in connection with a disturbance Sunday.

According to police, officers responded to a call at Carridale St. S.W.

Investigators say that two men, detained at the scene, had attempted to rape a woman at that location.

Juan Ramirez, 23, of Decatur and Nicolas Cardona, 21, of Decatur, were charged with first degree attempted rape.

The two were transported to the Morgan County Jail, where they are being held on $15,000 bond.
