19-year-old identified as victim in deadly east Birmingham shooting
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified a teen who was found shot to death in an east Birmingham roadway Monday evening.
Tru’Vontae William Hall, 19, of Birmingham was pronounced dead in the 4200 block of 41st Avenue North Monday.
Hall’s body was discovered around 5:15 p.m. Monday with multiple gunshot wounds.
A preliminary investigation revealed nearby residents heard shots.
“When they came to the door they found the male lying in the roadway next to a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound,” Sgt. LaQuitta Wade said Monday.
No suspects were in custody as of early Monday evening.
