17-year-old is 4th suspect charged in Montgomery man’s slaying
A 17-year-old boy has been charged in the shooting death of a Montgomery man.
The teen, whose name has not been publicly released by police, is the fourth suspect charged with murder in the shooting death of 20-year-old Antarrio Hubbard.
The teen was taken into custody Friday by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task and booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
Two other teens, ages 15 and 16, are also charged, as well as 23-year-old Deandre Byers, in Hubbard’s slaying. Additionally, Byers was charged with drug trafficking.
Hubbard was shot to death March 30.
Hubbard showed up about 7 p.m. that Thursday at a Montgomery hospital. He had been shot and driven there in a personal vehicle.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Investigators determined Hubbard was shot in the 400 block of Buford Street.
Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances surrounding Hubbard’s death nor identified a motive.
