17-year-old Alabama girl killed in Montana crash

A 17-year-old girl from Honoraville, in Crenshaw County died in a crash near Marion, Montana Saturday.

According to Montana Highway Patrol, the teen was driving a Subaru Legacy westbound on a left-turning curve on U.S. 2 when the car went off the right side of the road for unknown reasons. Trying to get back on the road, the driver overcorrected, lost control and the Subaru began to spin counterclockwise. The Subaru rolled across the guardrail and came to a stop on the road, facing east.

The crash was reported around 4:27 p.m. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The girl was wearing her seatbelt and road conditions were dry, according to troopers.
