15-year-old girl among 2 wounded in domestic shooting in eastern Jefferson County
A man and a teen girl were wounded in an overnight shooting at an eastern Jefferson County home.
Deputies were dispatched at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday to the 2300 block of Grayson Valley Drive on a report of two people shot, said sheriff’s spokesman Henry Irby.
They arrived to find a 49-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl injured.
Center Point Fire and Rescue transported the man to UAB Hospital. The teen girl was taken to Children’s of Alabama.
Their conditions have not been released.
Irby said the preliminary investigation indicates the case is domestic-related.
No arrests have been made or charges filed.
