13-year-old girl arrested after allegedly strangling her mother in Mobile, police say
A 13-year-old girl was arrested Monday after allegedly strangling her mother during an argument in Mobile, police said Tuesday.
Officers responded to a house in the 2000 block of Quail Creek Run around 3:46 p.m. Monday on a domestic violence complaint, said Cpl. Ryan Blakely of Mobile police.
Officers arrived at the scene to discover the victim’s 13-year-old daughter strangled her during an argument, Blakely said.
The daughter, who was in the home, was arrested and taken to the Strickland Youth Center.
