11 former Alabama prep stars invited to NFL Combine

Eleven players from Alabama high schools will take another step in their journeys to professional football at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.

On Tuesday, the NFL released the list of 321 college players who have been invited to participate in the combine, which will be held from Feb. 26 through March 4 in Indianapolis..

The annual event will gather the top prospects for the 2024 NFL Draft to be checked by medical staff, interviewed by team decision-makers and put through drills to gauge their football skills and tests to measure their athleticism by coaches and scouts.

The former Alabama high school standouts invited to this year’s combine include:

· Missouri defensive back Kris Abrams-Draine (Spanish Fort High School)

· Miami (Fla.) offensive lineman Javion Cohen (Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama)

· Auburn defensive lineman Marcus Harris (Park Crossing High School in Montgomery)

· Auburn defensive back DJ James (Spanish Fort High School)

· Ole Miss defensive lineman Cedric Johnson (Davidson High School in Mobile)

· Alabama defensive back Kool-Aid McKinstry (Pinson Valley High School)

· Oregon quarterback Bo Nix (Pinson Valley High School, Auburn)

· Auburn defensive back Nehemiah Pritchett (Jackson High School)

· Alabama kicker Will Reichard (Hoover High School)

· Arizona State defensive back Ro Torrence (Bessemer City High School, Auburn)

· Mississippi State linebacker Nathaniel Watson (Maplesville High School)

There will be 16 other players at the combine who didn’t play at Alabama high schools but did play at Alabama colleges:

· Alabama defensive back Terrion Arnold

· UCF wide receiver Javon Baker (Alabama)

· Alabama linebacker Chris Braswell

· Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton

· Alabama defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe

· UCF offensive lineman Tylan Grable (Jacksonville State)

· Oregon defensive back Khyree Jackson (Alabama)

· Alabama defensive back Jaylen Key (UAB)

· Alabama offensive lineman JC Latham

· Alabama running back Jase McClellan

· Texas running back Keilan Robinson (Alabama)

· Auburn defensive lineman Justin Rogers

· Auburn defensive back Jaylin Simpson

· Troy defensive lineman Javon Solomon

· Alabama linebacker Dallas Turner

· Troy running back Kimani Vidal

The players will be on the field in Lucas Oil Stadium from Feb. 29 through March 3, with the defensive linemen and linebackers on the turf on Feb. 29, defensive backs and specialists on March 1, quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends on March 2 and offensive linemen and running backs on March 3.
