10 pounds of marijuana seized in raid at north Jefferson County home
A drug raid at a north Jefferson County home led to the seizure of more than 10 pounds of marijuana.
Warrior police officers and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team carried out a search warrant Thursday a residence on Mable Drive. Officials said the raid followed multiple undercover drug buys by a narcotic’s investigator at the home.
Investigators recovered the marijuana, which was already packaged for sale, along with guns, ammunition, and drug paraphernalia.
Brady Harris is charged with three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. He is also facing additional charges.
A woman at the home was also arrested but has not yet been formally charged.
“We want to put drug dealers on notice that if you sell dope in Warrior,’’ according to a post on the department’s Facebook page, “we will find you and do everything that we can to make sure that you are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
