1 teen dead, another jailed in overnight Montgomery shooting

One teen is dead, and another is in jail following a Friday night shooting in Montgomery.

Police on Saturday identified the homicide victim as Jalen Johnson. He was 18.

The shooting happened at 9 p.m. on Duncannon Trial, said Maj. Saba Coleman.

First responders arrived to find Johnson dead on the scene. Additional details surrounding the circumstances have not yet been made public.

Within an hour, police took 18-year-old Carver Bradley into custody.

He is charged with murder and being held without bond in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

A motive has not yet been disclosed.
