Anniston police have arrested a man on murder charges following a fatal shooting Sunday.

According to police, officers were called to the 300 block of Elm Street Sunday following a shooting. There they found Donald Wayne Gooden, Jr., 36, of Anniston, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Gooden was later transported to Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

Broderick Tee Burnett, 26, also of Anniston, was arrested at about 3:25 p.m. Monday on murder charges.
