A north Jefferson County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Warrior.

The wreck happened at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Warrior Jasper Road, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

Authorities said 55-year-old John Michael Jennings was the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle. Details surrounding the wreck have not been released.

Jennings was pronounced dead at the crash site at 8:22 p.m.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
