An early-morning shooting in Tuscaloosa County left one person dead.

The shooting happened about 3 a.m. Saturday in the 11000 block of Pate Road in the Buhl community.

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Capt. Jack Kennedy said there were several victims, including the one who died. No additional information has yet been released.

Kennedy said several people are being questioned in connection with the shooting.
