1 killed, 3 injured in Sunday morning Montgomery shooting; suspect jailed

A Sunday morning shooting in Montgomery left one man dead, and three other people injured.

A suspect has been taken into custody.

Police and fire medics were dispatched at 6:10 a.m. to a report of a person shot in the 3500 block of McGehee Road.

Sgt. Tina McGriff said first responders arrived and found 34-year-old Marcus Henderson dead on the scene.

Another man and two women were injured. They were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

No additional details about the shooting have been released.

Robkywel Prevo, 29, was quickly identified as a suspect, McGriff said. He was taken into custody and charged with capital murder.

Prevo is undergoing booking at the Montgomery County Detention Facility where he will be held without bond.
