One man was killed and two others injured in a Montgomery shooting.

Police on Friday identified the slain man as Johnny Butler Jr. He was 23 and lived in Montgomery.

The shooting happened at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Ann Street.

Maj. Saba Coleman said Butler was pronounced dead on the scene.

Two other men had also been wounded. One suffered life-threatening injuries and the other is expected to be OK.

No additional information has been released, and no arrests have been announced.
