1 in critical condition after being shot in the face in Marshall County
One man is in critical condition with life threatening injuries at Huntsville Hospital following a shooting Thursday in Grant.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and Grant Police responded to a call at a home in the 2500 block of Eleven Forty Road in the Simpson Point community near Grant.
A Grant police officer was first to arrive and found a man with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the face, lying in the front yard of the residence.
Two other people were contacted at the scene, on the front porch of the house.
The sheriff’s office says a shooter in the case has been identified. However, the investigation is still ongoing and no charges have yet been filed.
