One person has been killed in Talladega as storms swept across Alabama on Friday.
A weather service report stated a tree hit a vehicle on Oak Circle.
The county coroner was on the scene and could not be reached for comment. The emergency management association was not able to provide additional information.
The tree was downed by gradient winds, which are formed by two storm systems being close together.
The weather service is getting lots of reports of wind damage as the storms move across the state. There have been several reports of injuries.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information is available.
