One person is dead following a crash Thursday night in Huntsville.

Officers were responding to a report of a stalled vehicle on Interstate 565 westbound Thursday at about 9 a.m. Dispatchers had received a report of a stalled vehicle.

While en route to the scene, they were notified of a crash involved a motorcycle and two other vehicles in the same area of the stalled vehicle.

According to Huntsville police, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
