A single-vehicle crash on Alabama 195 near the 15 mile marker left a 69-year-old dead, according to officials.

Donald Jordan of Phil Campbell died around 12:08 p.m. Saturday after the Mazda he was driving left the roadway, approximately six miles south of Double Springs in Winston County.

His Mazda struck two trees before overturning and hitting an embankment, according to a release. Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the incident.
