One person is dead following a house fire early Wednesday morning in Morgan County.

Morgan County Coroner Jeff Chunn said Thomas Bradley O’Barr, 34, was killed in the fire at a home in the Union Grove neighborhood.

Authorities responded at around 1:32 a.m., Chunn said. Two people were also injured.

Brindlee Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, Lacey’s Spring Volunteer Fire and Cotaco Fire and EMS all assisted in battling the fire.
