One person is dead and another was injured after an employee at a Mobile car dealership and a “known male” were shot after getting into a confrontation Tuesday night in the establishment’s parking lot, police said.

Mobile police responded to the shooting at Palmer’s Airport Hyundai, said Blake Brown, the department’s public information officer.

Brown only said that an employee of the dealership anda “known male got into a confrontation this evening and both were shot in the parking lot of the dealership.”

One victim died but Brown did not immediately say which victim was killed.

The investigation was ongoing, he said, adding that additional information would be released later.
